What I've Eaten

I keep seeing all these videos and listicles of the best this or that in L.A. Usually, they're run by celebrity chefs or have Insta-worthy dishes.

Langer's in MacArthur Park. Origin in K-Town. Holy Basil in DTLA. Moo's BBQ in Lincoln Heights. Pasjoli in Santa Monica. Chi Spacca in Hancock Park. Mini Kabob in Glendale.

If you didn't know better, you'd think that all the good food in L.A. County is limited to these areas, with a handful of outliers scattered elsewhere.

There may not be as many Michelin-starred or -recommended restaurants in other areas, but there're still plenty of places that are local favorites or have stood the test of time. That's what I'm in search of.
